new bike, please!

So. My beloved Schwinn 3-speed, a gift from jacflash last summer, is trashed (bent front fork) after the bike-door incident of last week. This means I'm in the market for a new bike!

I'm browsing ads on CL, and I'll be swinging by Broadway Bike School sometime soon, but in case anyone has a good lead or something gathering dust in the garage...

I would love, love, love to replace my bike with something similar: a nice around town cruiser. Because I ride in skirts a lot, I want a step-through frame and a chain guard. Three speeds were nice, though I'd be happy to have more. Fewer would not be ideal. My old bike was an 18" frame, and it was just a tad small for me. 19" or 20" would be better.

Bonus points for nifty colors (red! purple!) or a nice front basket.
