Those are the exact ten lines of Shakespeare I still have memorized from high school. :)

What I like best about that passage is that when Shakespeare penned it he was mocking the overly romantic drama-queens. The character speaking it was quite serious, but everyone else (including the playwright) was making fun of him for being such a melodramatic dork.

whereas my first thought is "she quoted 'macbeth!' does she know how to get rid of the curse?!?"

(quoting from "macbeth" presages bad luck in theatrical superstitions. but only bad luck of a theatrical nature.)

and i love that quote too, but i memorized a sonnet instead.
