(I have to add that my reaction to this is likely colored by the fact that I have never ever been a part of a group where I felt aligned with the Group Mind. Even groups in which I'm well integrated, feel valued and socially connected, I always hold fringe viewpoints and it has never really occured to me that it could or should be any other way. Even one of my best friend tells me that I'm the constant curmudgeon in her built conversational venue. :-) )
