Right. Of course we have things in common, in any group, but just because we have X in common doesn't mean we share Y. And that's okay (although it's also okay to say, "hey, I don't want to hang out with you because we don't share Y, and that's important to me.") Trying to force everyone to be like ME is a losing struggle, and one that would lose me a lot of relationships.
