not being able to step back and look for usefulness in spiritual approaches because they don't use the same vocabulary as me (and because some approaches are way crazier than others) is not really anything to be proud of, I guess.

This is actually another reason that I think it could be good for me to go. Challenging myself to get the fuck over myself on at least some of this stuff seems useful :)
