Cool! I knew about termite-trunks, didn't know about ant-hills... though I suppose it's the same principle. (There's actually been some really interesting work done on how "good tricks" spread socially through chimp communities... I remember reading an article years ago on the subject that reminded me quite a lot of similar studies done about how information travels through offices.)
