Damn, 'cause sleep was my main idea too. Although "stare blankly at my screen, then look for distraction on the internet" is also very popular when I'm supposed to be working.
But if that's not an option -- and during the first six months or so of recovery I was tired all the time, which kinda made it not an option in a serious way -- I like to get very methodical about what I need to get done and what of that is most important, and just chug through it. I won't be into it, I won't enjoy it, I won't be creative, I won't be inspired... but at least I'll get it done.
Conversely, if it isn't important enough to merit that treatment, I need to rethink whether it's more important than sleep.
