huh. I experience something I've thought of as "pre-emptive nostaligia" and it's tinged with too much wistfulness to be anticipation. For me, anyway.

I experience a kind of forward-looking nostalgia whose story is "someday this will be over and I will miss it!" The story of anticipation, for me, is "someday this will be happening and it will be great!"
