Today, on my way to the doctor's office for a TB test, a woman walking with a big stroller called out to me, "You look great!" She said this in the tone of voice you would use to comment on the appearance of someone you know but haven't seen in a long time, and who looked really fantastic. But I didn't recognize her, and I think I've never seen her before in my life.

Is this the straight girl version of the street pickup attempt, or is it just a little bit of random inserted into my day for entertainment?

(Note: I look okay today, but that's as far as I'd go.)

Yesterday I had a similar random stranger woman tell me I have beautiful hair. Maybe it's "tell a stranger they look great" week! And if it's not, maybe we should start it.

The other obvious possibility being that you had a Rosa-smile on your face, and did in fact look fantastic, whatever you may think of your hair or dress today.
