ALTHOUGH

Sometimes I add spices (cardamon or cinnamon) to the coffee grounds before I brew the coffee. Oh and I sometimes add molasses as sweetener

I can go with that, but not the artificial flavors.

(Have you tried some of the Cinnamons that are available through www.penzeys.com?

You mean real cinnamon? Four times as expensive, but has a real flavor instead of the Americanized HyperFlavorâ„¢.

Yes, exactly! The kind of cinnamon that is complex in flavor and not made out of elm tree bark or whatever the grocery store stuff is made of.

I like both, cinnamon and cassia, personally.

You should try their Vietnamese Cassia. It makes the best cinnamon toast.... no sugar needed.

YESSSS.

I have a wee Penzey's issue which is that I go in for a few spices and come out with bags full. Anyway, I forget which cinnamon is currently in my pantry but it is from Penzey's.

Not to be an enabler or anything, but have you tried their Zatar? Prrrrrrrr.... It's one of my new favorite things.

Damn it.

To enable back, their paprikas. OMG. Hungarian sweet, half sharp and smoked are all EPIC and I dump them on everything possible. Esp. eggs

I'll have to dogear that page in the catalog for my husband. I'm not sure if we've tried their Paprika selections or not. My husband is the cook in the family.... I make things like ice cream.

It's *so* good. Better than maple syrup as sweetener.

Yes! I add a dash of cinnamon to the grounds most times. I should try some of this super-duper cinnamon referenced here, though!
