As has become my tradition, I'll be celebrating the week of Thanksgiving with daily appreciation. I invite you to join me if you like!

Today, I give thanks for having an incredibly awesome job. I've definitely passed through the honeymoon phase at athena, and I still really love it and feel like I continue to have opportunities to grow, to shine, to teach and learn, and every single day, I appreciate the truly fantastic people I work with. We spend a lot of time at work, and I honestly never thought that I would find a job that made me happy to go to the office, but this one does, and that's a game-changer. I hope that I will always stay so lucky in this regard!

Your job is slathered in awesomesauce. And you are the cherry on top! (that is, perhaps, an unappetizingly mixed metaphor, but the intention was good :-)

I am thankful that I have accumulated the skills and experience that make many opportunities available to me. Also, I had the option to leave Spain when the economy collapsed. So many people I know don't have those same choices (especially in Spain). Life has been very good to me.
