Jun. 2nd, 2005 09:44 pmOh, so I made it back to Boston!
We arrived home late-ish on Tuesday evening, after a VERY long day of travel.
palmwiz and his mom met us at the airport with sushi - yay!
In freakish small-worldliness, during our very brief layover in Ft. Lauderdale, I ran into my former roommate, Melissa (from my Brookline apartment), who I haven't seen or talked to since she moved out of our apartment in June 2003. That was totally wild.
Overall, the trip was really fun. It was a blast to show
miss_chance around my other home. It was weird to be there so briefly. And great to see folks -- I think I saw almost everyone I wanted to see. And I really love the lake. Wowsa.
It's really awesome to be home, too. I'm housesitting, which is a nice bit of alone time, following the trip. Well, alone other than the cats and guinea pigs :)
