For several years, I've been thinking about getting myself a financial advisor. I know it's important to manage my money smartly, and I know that I'm just not interested enough in learning about the ins and outs of wise investing to keep track of it all myself. Thanks to mrf_arch, I've gotten off my duff and met with a financial advisor yesterday, to do the introductory, "Let's talk about what I need and how it relates to what she does," talk with her. And now I have an appointment to actually get down to business and start planning to manage my money appropriately! Man, I feel all grown up and stuff! Maybe I'll take myself out for ice cream to celebrate.
