I wish I had a video of the cat trying to eat a bit of nori, which went like this:

Step 1:

Cat hears me tearing and munching nori, and he comes over to investigate.

Step 2:

Cat sniffs nori experimentally.

Step 3:

Cat licks nori, decides he likes it, and takes a bite.

Step 4:

A large piece of nori comes off in the cat's mouth and sticks to his tongue.

Step 5:

Cat attempts to dislodge nori from tongue.

Step 6:

Repeat steps 3 - 5 several times.
