For a long time, I've been of the opinion that changes often sneak up on us, catching us unawares, and that's certainly impacted my approach to a lot of things, but it doesn't stop me from being surprised that lots of the things I've done in the last 3-4 years are things that once upon a time, I sincerely thought, "Gosh, I'll never ..."

I love words! I also love many of the ones in Spanish, even when they amaze me:

esposa(s) = wife (wives)
esposas = handcuffs
esposar = to handcuff

Wow.

Also:

amar = to love
amo = I love
amo = master (i.e., master/servant or master of the house, etc)
