So, I had a good weekend. Not only did I make a bunch of awesome pumpkins (there's one more than I showed in the picture in my last post, even; I accidentally came home with one of jojotbird's, so she'll pick up my last one when she gets hers) but with spike's encouragement and help, I appear to have fixed the problem that Apple said would cost $755 to replace. I think this is probably a temporary, stopgap fix, but I am, nonetheless, feeling unreasonably chuffed about the whole thing.
