Yesterday, I learned an important lesson.

Two, actually.

The first was that if you're transporting a stack of plywood in the back of a pickup truck, and the plywood is too long for the bed of the truck, so you leave the gate open and the plywood hanging off the end slightly, it's important to secure the plywood in/to the truck in some other way.

The second was that if you're following a truck whose operator has not learned lesson #1, it's important not to follow too closely.

Happily, I learned both of these lessons from a safe distance. And now, so have you.
