Well, I think ... no, nevermind

I have just started four (4) substantial comments in response to various people's lj posts, only to realize halfway through that whatever I was saying was either never going to come out right, or wasn't kind or useful, or was so inane as to insult the OP's intelligence by my including them.

If I have commented on a recent post of YOURS with similarly unhelpful content in the last little while, I apologize for not catching myself sooner.
