I hate politics. I need to move to another solar system.

Just be careful not to pick the one our non-Republican Senate candidate is in. ;)

I noticed on the ballot that she was listed as an independent -- did the Democratic Party finally succeed in getting her to stop calling herself a "Larouche Democrat?"

There are still a few races in play, but assuming the GOP does take over the Senate, I shudder to think what the Supreme Court is going to look like in a couple of years...

If you look at the transcripts of her earliest radio spots (which were *hysterical*, in a vaguely terrifying way), there were references to her being "the only Democrat on the ballot"; I have a suspicion that the Democratic Party put a stop that that right quick. I didn't pay too much attention to the Senate part of the ballot, since I already knew that I wanted d) none of the above so I didn't notice how she was listed

Her ads on WTOP up to election day still called her a "LaRouche Democrat", although she'd stopped calling herself the Democrat on the ballot.
