aroraborealisMy tomato seeds are beginning to sprout!
(While exciting in itself, this is even more exciting because these are seeds I saved off from some of my favorite tomatoes last summer, not "guaranteed" seeds from a packet. And this is my first year gardening, so it's all experimental, and I'm excited to see green!)

Date: 2005-04-13 06:48 pm (UTC)I just came in from plucking a few spinach leaves off my plants in the garden. Sadly, I didn't grow them from seed (much less from seed I'd saved), but gladly, the slugs and snails aren't the only ones getting to eat spinach!! ;)
