Back in the fall, I did that meme where people who responded got a personalized post about how they rock. [livejournal.com profile] kimcob responded, and I got busy and didn't quite get back to it until now.

I didn't wait because I couldn't think of anything good to say about [livejournal.com profile] kimcob but because there are so very many fabulous things about her that I didn't really know where to begin. Obviously, the first thing, though, is that she's very patient :)

Additionally, [livejournal.com profile] kimcob is an incredibly good cook. She knows just the right flavors and quantities to put together to make delicious meals out of ingredients that I would never even consider using. Even more impressive to me, though, is that many of the delightful morsels are made with ingredients that she doesn't like. I don't know a lot of people who can work culinary magic on food they don't like, but she does it.

More importantly, [livejournal.com profile] kimcob is an incredibly good friend. I know that if I had to, I could call her in the middle of the night and she would be on her way to my house in a second. She's a good listener, she's supportive, and she's so much fun to spend time with that even when I was seeing her a lot, I couldn't wait to get together with her again. Now that we see each other far too infrequently, it's killing me!

[livejournal.com profile] kimcob is great with her family. She even manages to make marriage look good to me! And when I think of people after whom to model my theoretical parenting, she's at the top of the list.

What I most appreciate in [livejournal.com profile] kimcob can be summed up with emotional intelligence. She's incredibly thoughtful and considerate of her loved ones, and even of strangers. Her compassion is vast, and more people like her would make the world a better place. I'm grateful that at least we have her.

my experiences with [livejournal.com profile] kimcob have been few, far between, and confined to somewhat large and unruly social gatherings. i am sad that i haven't had an opportunity to get to know her thus far; your description of her makes me anticipate with happiness the chance, whenever it arises. :)

Thank you very much, what a nice surprise! Although I must beg to differ with the patience assessment:)I think in this situation forgetful might be more appropriate.
