travel bug!

I'm looking into doing several months of travel to Central and/or South America, most likely beginning next fall. My ideal program would involve starting with a spanish language immersion for 2-4 weeks, some volunteer work, and then a couple of months of in-depth travel.

Right now, I'm working on gathering information on Spanish immersion programs and volunteer opportunities, as well as hearing from people who may have suggestions about this kind of travel. Any and all comments/suggestions/etc welcome!
