I had a most fabulous wheel spinning class today with a woman named Ann, whose last time I've already forgotten, at the Fiber Loft in Harvard. I've been saying to myself that I would just spin on drop spindles until after the Guatemala trip, but spinning on a wheel is really -much- faster and easier, once you have the rhythm down, so I don't know if I'll really be able to hold off... On the other hand, it's money that I don't NEED to spend, and a wheel that'll just end up in storage for my trip, and after a few months. I'm sure I know people who may lend me wheels, or I could rent one, or... We'll see.

ANYWAY, the class was delightful, the women were fun. Naturally, I was the youngest person there by at least 20 years, but that was fine. We spun the wool in the grease, which was new, and I liked it. It was certainly more messy, with bits of hay and dirt all over the place. It'll be perfect to do outside as the weather gets nice!

Overall, I'm very pleased, and a bit tired. And for tonight, I think maybe I'll bake...
