A big thanks to bbbsg for mentioning rent in her post this morning, which reminded me that I needed to pay mine. I usually remember, so it's a little weird that it totally slipped out of my head; I hadn't given it the slightest thought. *phew* Good to have that out of the way for another month :)

My project here at work is on hold while I wait for more boxes of data to come from archives, so I'm kinda twiddling my thumbs today. Maybe I'll do some quizilla quizzes or something. I wonder if I could get away with closing my door and just reading all day? Hmmm!

honestly, i had totally forgotten until i saw money in my bank account. i thought i still had another week or so before rent was due. damn these short months!

as for an alternative to thumb twiddling, reading gets my vote. i stuffed Violet & Claire by Francesca Lia Block into my bag this morning, hoping to steal little bits of time to finish it. it's not happening :/
