Three important life skills that have stood me in good stead

1. Being able to mock myself sincerely, with humor, and without beating myself up for my flaws and foibles, while still recognizing them.
2. Being able to listen to a person's thoughts and rephrase them back to them in a way that helps them figure out something they didn't know before.
3. Being able to go to bed when it's only a little too late, rather than way too late.

#1 is a skill I completely wish I had because I think it *would* hold me in good stead. #2 is a skill I believe I have, and I do like it when it works.
