Tell me something you think is awesome about yourself. Go all out! No couching it in modest glances or counteracting it with backhandedness or an undermining of the importance of the thing. Just tell me one of the (no doubt many) things that makes you nifty.

I'm an excellent trouble shooter. Even in areas I'm totally unfamiliar with, I'm good at getting an overview of a system, identifying potential problems or inconsistencies, and figuring out workarounds. This skill has been useful at work, both in social work and software.

I think it's part of a larger skill I have which is excellent pattern identification (and with it an ability to see violations of patterns intuitively).

I'm never satisfied with myself or anything I do. And I know saying that about myself could be considered derogatory, but I truly do mean it as a positive -- I'm always trying to get better at what I do and to be a better person.

I am good at seeing things from another person's point of view. If asked about a situation, I'm good at speculating on why various people might be acting the way they are, how they feel and possible resolutions.

This first part is also one of my weaknesses, because it means that I don't always advocate for myself, but I wouldn't give it up.

Lesbian sheep, are ffffing rare (or un-ffffing rare depending on your notions about word-contortion-grammar). We know how to get the ffffing going, thank you very much.

However, BI-EWES now thems might need a recovery group.

I am clever as all get out. Not smart (though I am pretty smart), but clever. I can see the patterns that others miss, and look at things in unique ways to come up with solutions where others might not see any.

I seem to have a skill at bridging divides, when I think and act carefully, to bring agreement to people who could not find any other way to get along. At least sometimes. :-)

I'm learning how to take more risks in my cooking and in so doing I think I'm starting to turn from a decent cook into a very good one.

I'm good at listening to people discuss problems they're facing and finding new ways for them to look at them.

And I'm really good in the sack, but I wanted to save that for the end since I figured people would assume I would bring it up. :-)

I am awesome at working out complicated schedules for groups of people, particularly with lots of constraints and tight timing. When I get them to work out in the implementation phase, I feel accomplished.

I am also able to see things from another's point of view on almost any interpersonal question. Someone else in these comments pointed out the negative side of that superpower, but I'm focusing on the positive for the moment.
