There's a general demand for a going away dinner next week, and Wednesday, Sept 3 looks like the day. I can't think of a good place to do it, though. Bluefin is nummy, but not good for a big group. Any suggestions for a place that's a) yummy, b) not too pricey and c) can take a big group?

I'm not sure how big is big here, but Bertucci's is a good option. The Alewife restaurant is right on the T as well as easily car-accessible, and they have no trouble handling groups of 40 or more.

You may be thinking the Davis Bertucci's (first one ever) with the Bocci court downstairs. They closed last summer. The Alewife one was alive and kicking as of a week before Monday, when I was there as part of a 40+ person dinner. :)

Location wise this is a good idea... or were you thinking sushi? Another would be to order big sushi party plates from someplace and eat here, but that is tough for the folks in town...
