What's your favorite remedy for hiccups?

I typically put a pen/pencil/chopstick/something of that size/shape in my mouth, and then drink a glass of water while that is in my mouth.

I have no idea why it works, but it works for me every time.

Similar to this, my never fail remedy is to drink out of a straw while plugging my ears.
Works every time.
