Date: 2003-04-29 06:08 am (UTC)I was taking my first barefoot walk of the season through the Common yesterday (YAY!)-- a little hesitant about the sharp things that might or might not puncture my poor little footsies, and I was reminded of:
"When I look down, I miss all the good stuff,
When I look up, I just trip over things."
And it seemed very true. I look down when I walk more often than not. Don't make much eye-contact... Working on changing that a bit just because you never know what you might miss.

I really hope you mean the title of the second of those, and not the content. =:-O
